There is a wall of sand between the sea and NC-12. As I stopped at Pea Island, I went down to see the sea and the waves rolling in. Normally, I don't take videos, although my cameras have support for it. (The few times I have tried, the result has been crap.) By mistake, I pressed the recording button at this site. This resulted in a three-second sequence, which if nothing else conveys the sound. You can try this link to watch this movie. (But if you don't have anything that can view .MOV files, it may not work. Another reason I don't do videos.)
