Back in València I rushed up to Plaza de la Reina to catch a "bus turistic" that would take me to La Albufera, a lake – the biggest in Spain – just south of València, with a landscape which cannot be too different from the delta of Ebro. When I reached the square, I dashed into a local fast-food place and then threw myself on the bus. But the bus did not go to any lake: it was only driving around in València. I did see some nice houses that I had missed, but a lot I had covered the day before. Eventually I realised that I had got on the wrong bus; this was just a city tour. I had made notes of the time table, so was I back on Plaza de la Reina to in due time for the next bus to the lake. But there was no next bus, and the reason for this can be seen in this picture: it was raining. The building you seen in the back is the cathedral.
