18. Bran Castle

Bran Castle is one the major tourist drags in Romania. It is dramatically perched on a cliff, you could certainly think of it as a vampire's den. And Dracula certainly plays major part both in the souvenir stands and in the exhibits. However, Bram Stoker's Dracula had his castle in another part of Transylvania and nor does the Wallachian ruler Vlad Ţepeş from which Stokes drew his character have much connection to Bran. Overall, beside the dramatic position, I did not find the castle that exciting.
