One day I drove to the northern tip of the Coromandel Peninsula and after a while the road became a narrow winding gravel road where meeting another car was not always trivial. (I had an interesting meeting with a SUV that carring a wide caravan. That took a little time to sort out.) At the end of the road in Fletcher Bay, I started walking along the Coromandel Walkway which goes to Stony Bay where another road (presumambly equally narrow and winding) ends. Time did not permit me to walk the full distance forth and back, but I believe I walked the essential parts of it. Whatever, it was a wonderful day, both the drive and the walk and there are lots of pictures, but not that much text – the pictures speak for themselves.
