Camigliatello is a small town in Sila Grande which is famous for its old giant trees.Already on bus out from Cosenza the big forests on the mountain slopes were impressing.

Camigliatello in itself is not an attraction, but more a tourist camp, but I liked the place. In difference to Etna, tourism here is mainly domestic. I arrived in the low season between summer and winter, but since it was Saturday, there were a lot of people out on Via Roma, where most of the tourist services are. Later, when I took a walk after dinner, it was very quiet. And on Sunday and Monday nights it was even quieter.
