The footpath leads to small park, rather just a lawn. And it was on this very spot that I ten years before I had seen one of the most wonderful scenes I've seen in my life. A man sitting on a collapsible chair right in the river bed, and his dog playing by his feet. It was such a wonderful sense of VACATION! In fact, I was able to get the scene on camera.

Things do change in 10 years. There was now a sign to disallow camping on the lawn. (The man with the dog had wife and camping van on the lawn), and on the tree to the right you can see a sign that prohibits swimming. I don't think that sign was there ten years ago – but I might have ignored it as it was 35°C.
