There are two spieces of caimans – or Yacaré in Spanish – in Iberá. Both spieces are modest in size, and only reaches a weight of around 80 kg, so a human being would be too much of a mouthful for them. They mainly live on fish. Going swimming? Nah, the waters in the Iberá lakes is fairly muddy anyway, so it is not appleaing anyway. If you have difficulties to see the crocodile, don't feel ashamed – it took me some time to spot it as well. |
