| Futarasan-jinja is a Shinto shrine founded in 782, and thus a lot older than the Tokugawa mausoleums. It is actually a shrine in three parts and only the first part is in Nikko. Another part is by the Chuzenji lake that we saw before, and the final part is on top of Mount Nantai. This man with the hare sits just outside the entrance. | ||
