23. Brutalism Meets Gaudí

A most improbable building where the architect has mixed dull grey concrete with two fantasy towers in Gaudí style. The building is a church, attatched to the monument for the 26 martyrs. (See further the Nagasaki page.) Due to its history, Christianity has a stronger position in Nagasaki than in most other Japanese cities, and there are several noticeable churches.
