An interior from a Ukrainian train corridor which has its own atmosphere. Each compartment has four places, which formally consists of two berths on top of each other on both sides. Bed linen are always available, and it seems that it is common to use them during daytime as well. When we rode to Poltava, Oksana made herself a bed and laid down, while I preferred to sit. This caused a small culture clash, and she insisted to make me a bed as well. I ended up sitting in the corridor to work on my computer, as the light in the compartment was quite dim. |
