One would maybe not think of Kiev as a place where to go swimming, but the islands in Dnipro – which is wide in Kiev because of a downstream dam – have beaches, and yes, people use them. I have no information about how clean the water is. Or for that matter, if there are issue due to the failed nuclear power plant upstream.
