Jockey's Ridge State Park is centred around some very large dunes, the biggest on the US east coast. Here out on the Outer Banks the winds are always strong (I assume, it was certainly very windy when I was here), and the sand blows around and changes the landscape constantly. This view is towards the Atlantic.
