Savannah

Savannah is the oldest town in Georgia and is located on the coast directly south of the border to South Carolina. Like Charleston it has a vast historic downtown where you can stroll and see many fine houses. A feature not seen in Charleston are the many squares that are centred around small parks, giving the city a very lush impression. In terms of sights to pay entrance fee, Savannah is less rich than Charleston, and there is not equally much to see in the direct surroundings. But if you have been to Charleston for a couple of days, Savannah certainly has a more relaxed feeling.
