The Topography of Terror is an outdoor exposition as well an indoor museum, all with free entrance. The subject is a very dark chapter in Germany's history, that is, the Nazi era. It is certainly a very sobering experience. The building to the left is the museum. The better-looking building in the back is Martin-Gropius Bau, which appears to be an art museum.

Outside Martin-Gropius there was a stage for some sort of festival with happy musical appearances. Which were quite out of place when watching the outdoor part of the Topography of Terror.
