Potsdammer Platz is right on the old border between East and West Berlin and was a desolated area way back then. After the wall came down, it became a precious piece of real estate and it has developed to an area with modern high-rise buildings. A special feature are all the statues of fat ladies who are enjoying various activities. The artist is Xu Hongfei.
