This is the kind of picture you take when you just have bought your new digital camera and want to test that you understand how to take a picture.

There was a cluster of computer stores just close to my hotel in Taichung. When I found the camera I had been thinking of, and the price seemed to be considerably lower than at home, it was a deal. Since the box it was packaged in seemed inconvenient to carry around town, I went back to the hotel to unload, and took this picture.

Notice how I carefully avoid reflections from the flash in the mirror.
