On a hill in Gràcia is Parc Güell. Eusebi Güell had the idea of building a fashionable housing area, and he contracted Gaudí to design the park for the area. The project was a commercial fiasco; only two houses were built out of the sixty that were planned. But the park is still there and open to the public. People come here to enjoy the views, the plants and not the least Gaudí adventurous design.
