When you have reached the end of the old town, you have a fine view over Cuenca. To the right the old town; notice how the houses are directly on the precipice, and pay particular attention to the house with the balconies in the distance. Below the hill we can discern the modern part of Cuenca. To the right Convento de San Pedro, today a parador, that is a luxurious hotel in an old building.
