In conjunction to the old riverbed, you find Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències – The City of Arts and Sciences – an area with museums, concert halls etc. The architecture of these modern buildings is brave and adventurous, many of them are designed by Santiago Calatrava. Here a cable-stayed bridge over the dry riverbed creating a fascinating pattern against Àgora, the building in the back, a congress hall.
