Next stop was the small village of Deltebre, nondescript in itself. As the name indicates it's situated in the delta of the Ebro river. The river runs across the Spanish main and grows substantially wide before it reaches the sea. The delta is an agricultural area, but also popular with migrating birds, and parts of the area are sealed of as a reserve. This is from an excursion boat on the main arm of the river.
