Looking at the watch and the map, I realised that I had to turn back, and take path 1 up the mountain to get back to Sinaia. The idea of being stranded on the bare mountain by night was not appealing at all. As a matter of fact: I wanted to reach the cable car, as I did not feel like making another 1000-metre descent.
