When I arrived with the cable car, I continued in the same direction down to the valley on that side. I had some ideas to reach the lake at the end of the river, but I had to cut my plans a short. The queue to the cable car was one hiccup. Another hiccup was when I later took a break to have lunch, I found that I lost some of the food I had bought in Buşteni – probably I had failed to put it into my backpack. I could eat at an hotel in the valley, but it was not really my idea of a walk in the mountains, and it took a bit of time. Nevertheless, it was a good day.
