At the Babele Cabana, I left path 9, and instead took onto path 7 to get down from the mountain. The first part was easy walking downhill, on the gentle slopes of the bare mountain. Eventually I came to this plateau looking out of over the gorge below, and further afield is the river valley and the town of Buşteni. I am going to walk down all the way to Buşteni. See that red dot on the slope of the mountain above the gorge?
