Quite a few pictures from the palace follow. Certainly quite some money went into this, and there is no lack of marble. Still, compared to older monuments like churches and castles, there is an element of restraint here. I mean, there are only gold linings in some places, not very many wall paintings. Then again, this may be due to that the project was intercepted by the revolution.
