The Palace of Parliament in Bucharest is the world's second administrative building after the Pentagon. Ceauşescu's intention was that the party headquarters would be here, as well as government offices and dwellings for party people. After the revolution in 1989 when the building was almost finished, there was some confusion what to do with the building, but eventually it became the home for the two chambers of the Romanian parliament. It is also used for international conferences. I took a tour inside the building which was very interesting for more than one reason.
