Sibiu, Hermannstadt in German and Nagyszeben in Hungarian, is one more old Saxon town in Transylvania where the population today is mainly Romanian. Just like Braşov, Sibiu has an aura of Central European elegance, although renovations have not progressed equally far as in Braşov. But around the main square all buildings have enjoyed a face lift, and the square is big. |
