The place, I stayed at in the delta was a special experience. A number of circumstances lead me to pick a pension in Letea, a small village in the north part of the delta, and this is not where all the other tourists are heading – I was probably the only tourist in the entire village. The streets are sandy and unpaved. Horse carriage is a perfectly normal means of transportation. This is the main village street.
