My next destination after Te Anau was Invercargill, the southernmost city in New Zealand of any size, and which also served as a starting point for going to Stewart Island (which appears in the next set). I did not travel the shortest route, but I followed a part of something which is known as the Southern Scenic Route. It was not a day of big and fantastic experiences, but well a day of small and nice ones.
