There is a river running through Fukuoka and in this river there is the island of Nakasu, a red-light district with some 2000 restaurants and bars. The island is small: 1500 m long and 250 m wide. It was a nice area to stroll around in – save the last block down to the south tip of the island. There the streets were lined by suspect figures that tried lured me into their, ehum, clubs. (I don't recall that well, but I think that I saw something about love, girls and so on.)
