In an opening towards the river in the mall I found this. Really what it is, I don't know know, but it's clearly something of a religious character. There was something similar at the Shinto shrine, see the picture Kushida-jinja III. Possibly this is a float that they drag around at the yearly local festival. (Festivals are common in Shinto.)
