I'm now down on the second viewing platform. There is a path that leads back to the starting point, and I even saw guiding poles indicating where the trail goes. But that part of the trail is closed, surely of security reasons. It goes not very far from the crater, and a walk there could give you a little too much of sulphur in the lungs. So I took that other ropeway down, and I was then fortunate get a hitch with a Japanese gentleman who also had been hiking on the mountain.
