The guidebook seemed to think that Hiroshima's Museum of Contemporary Art was worth a visit, and as it was close to the railway station, I started my day there. But I found it or lesser interest, and if you like me are in Hiroshima for a single day, I recommend that you head directly for the area around the Peace Park and the A-bomb Dome. Nevertheless, this is a sculpture in the small park in front of the museum. (And the blue sheets indicate that this is popular for cherry-blossom picnics when it is not raining.)
