From Lecce, I went north heading for the small village Pescasseroli in Parco Nazionale di Abruzzo, one of the biggest national parks in Italy. To get there I had to change trains in Pescara and Sulmona, and then catch a bus in Avezzano. This picture is from the train from Sulmona to Avezzano. We are one the same latitude as Rome now.
