Rain or not, I could not stay in my hotel room all day, and in the afternoon the rain seemed to give in. Instead of climbing some hill I just set off towards the village of Lasse which is some km away from Saint-Jean. (Recall the sign from pictures ago.) However, as I arrived in Lasse, the rain returned and while I had brought my rain trousers to France, I had no use for them as they were back at the hotel. I found protection under a roof that covered the entrance to the church (that itself was not open). While sitting there I took this steaming picture with the graveyard in the foreground and the landscape behind it.
