Not that easy to cross. My boots are good for walking, but they are fairly rigid, and don't give very a good grip on slippery and uneven surfaces. (I had noticed already at home in icy Stockholm.) There is a little too much water to make wading attractive. And the water is likely to be cold as ice. Hmm.
