Walking along the Aude was not as exciting as I had hoped. First I followed the east side, where there was an untidy park area. But I came to a dead end, where the only way forward went through gates with the text Privé. I backtracked and tried the west side, but there was no end to the built-up areas. Then again, the sun was shining and it was a beautiful weather, so why complain? In any case, here is a rapid, supposedly due to an embankment.
