1. View from My Hotel Room

Donibane Garazi (Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port in French) is where I had my base for a week. Here I have just arrived and checked into my hotel room. Quite nice view from the balcony, isn't it? The weather was gorgeous when I arrived, 23°C or so. (Keep in mind that this was early April.) But you may sense dark clouds in the distance, and the forecast said rain and a fall in the temperature of ten degrees in just a few hours. The forecast was correct.
