Next excursion went to the Calilegua national part, which comprises an area of subtropical rain forest, or so called cloud forest. We were only three on this trip: me, Sandy from London and our guide Mario from Clark Expediciones. Mario brought binoculars and a telescope, so that we could watch the birdlife. (You don't see many mammals in Calilegua). This was something completely different from the standard tour to Cachi! (Sure, the price tag was another as well, but it was well worth the price.)
