It's evening and I am back in Tilcara. At the central plaza there is a festival decidated to the cayote, an fruit that is overly sweet in my opinion. This lady were doing some standup comedy, and she certainly was one of the more unusual in her business. She might have been dressed up to look older than she is, but she really looked like an old lady, and not even remotely reminding of a standup comedian. She appeared to be putting on quite a good show, although I didn't understand that much. I seem to recall that somewhere along the trip, I was told that the Quechuas of Argentina speaks Spanish only. But while here performance was mainly in Spanish, she also has some passages that were in Quechua (or some other Indian language). That much Spanish I understand, that I notice when I don't understand anything.
