How remote can a place be? In the morning of the second day, the ship reached Puerto Edén, which is a settlement with some 110 souls, mainly of the Kawéscar people, that once roamed these waters in their canoes (and which were their homes). Here they live, only reached by the Navimag ship twice a week. Well, they are not cut off entirely – my mobile phone had reception here.
