15. Starting the Descent

The descent down to the gorge ("cañada" in Spanish) was quite steep and not exactly for everyone. The tour group included a woman around 60 and a boy around 12, presumably her grandson. The lady was not really steady on the narrow path, and the guide had to support her. In several places, the woman moved sitting down, sliding on the gravel. Thus, we moved quite slowly downwards.
