Going to La Cueva de las Manos

The reason I went to Perito Moreno was to visit La Cueva de las Manos ("The Cave of Hands"), a UNESCO World Heritage, with hand paintings (or maybe we should call it graffiti) that are up 9000 years old. Once there, I cannot say that the cave as such was not a major thrill. Thankfully, though, the trip offered more than just the cave. We stopped at the Tierra de colores ("Land of Colours") a fascinating little gorge just off RN40 where the rocks are in many colours. Before we reached the cave, the driver dropped us on a hilltop and we trekked down into the gorge of Río de la Pinturas which we then followed until we reached the cave. That was a very fine 6 km walk, which more than well made up for the day.

The pictures fall into three sections, based on the above, plus two small sections of plants and birds. I have not cared to put a name to all pictures.
