70. Washington State Capitol

In November, I crossed the ocean and the North American continent to speak at SQL Saturday in Vancouver WA and at PASS in Seattle. Like last year, I went by car from Vancouver to Seattle together with friends with the idea to make a detour and do some hiking along the way. Unfortunately, but quite typical for the Pacific Northwest, it was raining, so we kept it fairly simple.

We took the I-5 to Olympia, the capital of Washington state at the innermost parts of Puget Sound, where we made a quick stop on my insistence. Not particularly exciting, but at least we got to see the state capitol.
