Along this trail, we noticed a path down back to the river. The path seemed a bit steep, but three of us went down, with Tony the Brave taking the lead, and Toney the Coward staying behind. And indeed it was steep. And muddy and slippery. I made a little detour to find a slide that was a little more gentle, but I still had to go down sitting. You can bet that I got dirty! I did not see exactly how the other two came down, but I got the impression that they lost grip and just sled down, uncontrolled. Poor Tony was hit hard by a stone in the breast. Anyway, the fall was definitely worth seeing. To get back, there was a gentle path back. But it almost felt like cheating. |
