My last stop for the day was Tamsui. Tamsui lies at the mouth of the river with the same name, and this is the main river that runs through Taipei. I walked along the river shore together with a lot of other people. I had the idea of eating from the many food stalls, but I ended up at a "real" restaurant. Tamsui is also the terminus for one of the metro lines, and I took the metro back to Taipei.
