37. National Palace Museum

I decided on my last day in Taipei and Taiwan to visit the National Palace Museum. I was here in 2003 as well, but it is after all one of the major attractions in Taiwan with an enormous collection of items collected through the history of China.

Indeed, there are a lot of things to see, although it's a bit crowded, and just as you are standing and admiring some item, there is all of a sudden a guide with his group around you. That sort of has a negative impact on the experience. Nevertheless, in the following pictures there are some items from the museum.
