4. Ningxia Street Night Market

You find night markets all over Taiwan. They offer various things for sale and also simple games for the kids to play. But the main thing is food. There are stalls offering various sorts of food: skewers, fried chicken, pizza, you name it. You can count on there being a lot of people hanging out on these markets. The night market on Ningxia Street is by no means the biggest in Taipei, but it was a 15-20-minute walk from my hotel so it was quite convenient.
