Tokyo

I had as many as six nights reserved for my hotel in Tokyo. Despite this, I only spent one full day and two half days (day of arrival and day of departure) in Tokyo itself. This is because I used Tokyo as a base for day trips to Fuji, Nikko and Kamakura. The last night I did not sleep in the hotel, but I wanted to have the room a couple of hours in the afternoon, as my flight home was at 23:05.

As for the time I actually spent in Tokyo, I mainly went to places I did not visit on my previous trip. For instance, my hotel was in Ikebukuro distrinct in the north-west of Tokyo, to which I did not stray in 2009.
