71. Dinner Time II

This was my dinner for the night. This was a meat place, where thre was a buffet at a fixed price. If I wanted more food, I ordered that from the tablet, and the raw meat would be brought to my table where I grilled it myself. There was one limitation: All orders had to be placed within 90 minutes.

While the buffet style was unique to this restaurant, the system with a tablet was not. At several places, I ordered food from a tablet or from a web site that I reached through a QR code, unique for my table. In a way, it's a bit impersonal, but on the flip side it helps with the language barrier, as there are pictures.

Also worth noting is that I'm sitting in my own cabin and see no other guests (but I can hear them!). This is by no means uncommon in Japanese restaurants.
