I walked down from Inwangsan a different way than I came up, and I ended up in a residential area that was quite nice to walk through, although I did not take any pictures. Finally, after having had lunch, I came to Gyeongbukgung, which I entered from a side gate. This is the main gate, and as you can see, it is popular to visit. You may note the two women in the foregound wearing long dresses. Those are hanbok, a traditional Korean costume. If you look more close that the other people you can spot a few more. You can rent these for the day in several places, and it was quite popular to do so. Not only did I see Koreans in hanbok – I spotted a few westerners as well. |
